Despite some people’s distaste for three wheeled cars, they’re quite the popular model for concept cars right now. This is definitely one of the most unique eco-friendly concept vehicles we've seen to date. Though it may look a little like some kid's futuristic car, the MAG magnetic vehicle concept by Slovakian designer Matúš Procháczka goes in some interesting directions for possible future green power.
The MAG vehicle by Procháczka, as he looks to have told The Design Blog, makes use of magnetic power. It does this by using "an electric engine that has a polarity which is the same as in road." The only possible drawback, you can probably imagine, is the roads would need to be somehow magnetic themselves. Not something you'll probably see a lot of public capital investment put into right now.
Still, the design of this vehicle would, in effect, reportedly "lighten 50% of body weight." This could, theoretically, result in the development of automobiles which require less raw materials for their development, saving further on natural resources. Others have taken notice of this design as well, has he won an award from Interior Motives last year.
Procháczka has some other neat looking designs as well. His dream car, according to this interview, is a "futuristic sport car for two person with electric engine 100% ecological, with unusual looking." Sounds like he has some interesting future designs in mind.

"Of course this will also require the roads to be made of huge concrete panels with magnets formed in them."
