It’s a great car! But it’s not the first one.

In the Netherlands a company build a car just like this one called \"Carver\", bit this one is ready to hit the road. Just look at their site! http://www.carver-europe.com . However, tt might be a little more expensive. The clever is going to cost around € 10.000 euro’s, the Carver about € 30.000. But…wow! It’s so cool! Just like the Clever…I want one!!

May I assume you are from the USA?
It may come as a surprise to you that a car does not have to weigh two tonnes to be safe in a crash. Look at F1 cars, or the Smart. The Smart has a very strong body.
Most cars seem to have just the driver in them, so a single seater would be fine. I\'d have one. - Guest

Crash worthiness is not soley a function of one vehicle. This one may have a top speed of 60 mph, but what is the top speed of the SUV that the other guy is driving? That is the case that you really need to be concerned about.

I think a practical car really should be able to carry at least two people and a few bags of groceries. Still, there are many interesting ideas in this prototype. - Guest
