OK...so that was really weird. I suppose it's fine with me if the next step in the greening of automobiles is ushered in by a foot-loving bulldog...
In related news, the Chevy Volt is officially going to cost something more like $35,000, instead of the $30,000 they were hoping for. But the second generation, they promise, will be cheaper.

Our Bulldog had this problem when she was young. We broke her of the habit by putting Tobasco Sauce on our toes. After a week or so she stopped ;)

I was at the Art Center Sustainability Summit (http://www.artcenter.edu/summit/) last week and there was a big presentation on the Tata Nano, coming out in India for 100,000 Rupees, which is only 2,500 bucks! It's tiny, has one windshield wiper and no A/C, but still, $2500 for a commuter car is pretty amazing. It puts things in perspective at least when 35K is the average price for a vehicle here. Hopefully some more exciting green discoveries will come out of more research and events. I'm really curious what's going to come out of the Art Center Global Dialogues event in Barcelona. Big event for climate change and green design. Good one to watch: http://www.artcenter.edu/dialogues/

The Nano may be cheap to purchase- but the cost to the environment is HUGE! making more autos for people who previously didnt drive them doesnt help the problem.

Extremely odd commercials like this remind me of the EV1 commercials...
Makes me doubt how serious they are about bringing the car to market.
Only time will tell... But a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush so to speak.
