Hey, maybe we're a little behind on this, but we wanted you to know that your phones aren't killing bees. There was a flurry of ecogeeky concern--one friend of ours went into graphic (and yet still very boring) detail--that cell phone frequencies were confusing bees and causing them to die.
And so it is with glee that EcoGeek types the following sentence:
Fear not; it's merely a parasite.

Totally fair. Mostly, I found it funny that a downgrade from cellphones to parasites was considered a favorable situation, considering that it took the responsibility (and, with it, our own ability to stop the problem) out of our hands. Some cause for celebration! Free weekend minutes versus a major breakdown in the food chain.
