I agree with the other comment, arctic ice is way up this year. Anomolous weather is curious, but it's hard to trend. - Joe

@Doc rings: You are cherry picking the information

Typically, you are cherry picking the data.

From the same nsidc.org site:
changing wind patterns have caused older, thicker ice to move south along Greenland’s east coast, where it will likely melt during the summer. Temperatures in the Arctic remained above average.
And more:
Despite the late ice growth, Arctic air temperatures remained persistently warmer than average throughout the winter and early spring season. April temperatures were about 3 to 4 degrees Celsius (5 to 7 degrees Fahrenheit) above average across much of the Arctic Ocean, and up to 10 degrees Celsius (18 degrees Fahrenheit) above normal in northern Canada. Conditions in the Arctic were part of a trend of warmer temperatures worldwide
So much for having a very good year!

Now down to Antarctica:

From NASA:
The continent of Antarctica has been losing more than 100 cubic kilometers (24 cubic miles) of ice per year since 2002.
The only thing I agree with you is that warming is not CO2 based. - Blake

Good news is that arctic ice is actually having a VERY good year.

http://nsidc.org/arcticseaicenews/

April Arctic ice is just about "average" (1979-2000 average), which is most excellent. Ice extent ofr April 2010 was the largest for that month in the past decade.
There were a few areas below average, and a few areas above average. - Doc Rings
