An online video contest from Western Wind Energy is promising $10,000 to the best pro-wind power video. It's reminding us of the ill-fated Make Your Own Tahoe Commercial contest that GM put on a while back. Except... this is environmentally friendly, and there are way fewer trucks and way more girls in bikinis. All in all...I like this one a lot better.

Enviromental Video
written by The Flying Giraffe (J) , December 05, 2007
Hi there! We are a group of young film producers that have recently released a stop motion (drawstyle) about enviromental awareness. I am reformatting the video with titles, because currently it has none. We were watching BrotherHood 2.0
and ended up following the links all the way across to the EcoGeek blog. We found this competition and got interested. How do I submit videos? Thanks- The Flying Girafe Team | ||

Science, technology gadgets and...baby seals. We're in a bit of an eco-mess, but we've got the brains to lick any problem. And that's why EcoGeek.org publishes up to ten stories daily about innovations that are saving the planet.
And if that sounds interesting to you, then congratulations, you're an EcoGeek.
I am a video producer from YCM Open University, Nashik, India. (state govt.) (website www.ycmou.com )
I am producing a video serial on the topic of ''Environment''. The first 16
videos are ready. The format used is Betacam SP PAL. My environmental
videos were selected for screening at Environmental film festival at
Florida, US (First week of March 2006) and we received second award at the 'Wildlife Vaasa Nature film festival, Finland, Nov 2006)
The videos are about environmental and pollution awareness. (duration about 25 minutes) ..We telecast our educational videos through State TV channel.
I would like to submit my films on environment for your contest. Please inform about the possibility and the process for submission. I can submit DVD NTSC.
Please reply.
Sincerely'
Jagdish Kulkanri
