EDF, a French electricity company (not to be confused with the Environmental Defense Fund) has created a cool series of ads that make pretty good desktop backgrounds (as long as your monitor isn't too big.)

EDF is, in my book, a good company. They produce a heck of a lot of electricity without emitting any greenhouse gasses, and they do it the unpopular way...with nuclear power. The French are very firm in their belief that nuclear power isn't as bad as fossil fuels, and I'm rather inclined to agree with them. Still, EDF uses almost no truly renewable energy. But these ads are clever, cute, and hopefully will get the point across to their consumers.
