| Matter Magazine: Convering Sustainable and Clean Technology |
| Monday, 20 August 2007 | ||
![]() A new site which pays attention to clean technology and sustainability has sprung up to keep us better informed about the front lines of the green revolution. The site - Matter - says it wants to cover "what matters." Matter is the creation of longtime journalists John Gartner and Michael Penwarden. Gartner has written about environmental technologies for several years as well as editing a handful of tech publications. Penwarden has also edited several computing magazines and written on different topics for major media outlets. The idea behind Matter, say Gartner and Penwarden, is to offer coverage of "trends, ideas, products and news driving the sustainability and clean technology revolutions." They are hoping to help readers better understand "sustainable business practices and products." Matter seems to be off to a good start, with clean looks and lengthy, well written articles. We here at EcoGeek think this site has potential to offer another online voice in talking about sustainable futures. Welcome.
