Subaru Indiana: Zero Waste After Three Years

Subaru's Indiana assembly plant has completed it's third year of producing Outbacks and best prices on levitra Forresters and not one single bit of trash has left the factory. The Indiana plant was designed to re-use, recycle, or generate energy from 100% of it's waste.

Additionally, the area around the plant is also restored wildlife habitat and many of the vehicles produced at the plant are low-pollution, "partial zero emissions vehicles." That doesn't mean that they're low-carbon though. Subaru is still on the low end of the scale when it comes to vehicle mileage. But we're happy to give credit where it's due.

"Subaru is still on the low end of the scale when it comes to vehicle mileage."
If you compare apples to apples, and look at their mileage compared to all of the other AWD vehicles on the consumer market they are pretty good. Admittedly, not everybody needs AWD, but those of us who do find Subaru's mileage figures to lowest priced viagra be pretty attractive compared to the alternative SUVs and even more-expensive sedans in the same class. Go to and compare the 2008 Subaru Impreza (non turbo) to other similarly-sized AWD models: Audi A4 Quattro, , Volvo S40 AWD, BMW 328xi, Lexus IS250 AWD, Mercedes C300 4Matic, Chrysler Sebring AWD, etc. Even the Toyota Matrix drops to similar numbers when AWD is added.
